Poetry: Season's Sparkle

Cuddled in a quilt, I sip on hot coco,

it snows outside, on this cold winter night.

The neighborhood is dressed with its holiday glow,

I smile as I watch this beautiful sight.

The tree lights up, topped with jewels and a star,

gifts and treats sit at its base.

A reindeer in the snow dances in its jar,

as it’s perched above the fireplace.

The house smells sweet,

with the aroma of fresh cookies.

But the rule before we eat,

Is to share these goodies.

As a family, we celebrate,

and enjoy the festive cheer.

After all, its that happy date,

when Christmas is finally here!

Merry Christmas

:)
